ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Arti Maheshwari,
Founder of YogArt

My passion is to help women navigate their sometimes challenging, yet beautiful journey of peri to post menopause.

I have been practicing yoga for over two decades and hold Bachelor’s degree in biology, anatomy, physiology, and Master’s degree in organic chemistry.

Growing up in India, yoga has always been an integral part of my life, and my academic background further fuelled my passion for health, nutrition, fitness, hiking, and dancing.

I fell in love with yoga even more during my own menopausal journey —a time filled with anxious nights, mood swings, and physical changes. It was during this period that I decided to deepen my knowledge of Yoga by enrolling in a 500+ hours Master Yoga Teachers training and got certified by Yoga Alliance International.

This intensive training provided me with deep knowledge of Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, and Meditation, which motivated me to write my final thesis for the certification on “Yoga for wellbeing during perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.”

Throughout this training, I experienced firsthand how yoga helped me alleviate my anxiety, improve strength, and bring balance to both my mind and my body.

Now, I’m here to help you with the knowledge of Yoga from its roots. At YogArt, I’ve created a program specially designed to help you navigate transitional phase of your life with grace and joy.

Hatha Yoga, Meditation & Breathwork​

A rejuvenating blend of practices designed for women to strengthen their body, build better mobility, flexibility, and improve sleep quality and pelvic floor strength, reduce stress and anxiety in peri- and post-menopausal phases.

Ideal for women aged 40+

Yoga Sessions in Walchwil:

maximum 10 participants – personalised attention

  • Monday morning – 09:00 – 10:30 AM
  • Thursday evening – 20:00 – 21:30 PM

Yoga Sessions in Zug:

maximum 10 participants – personalised attention

  • Tuesday morning – 09:00 – 10:30 AM

Price:

  • 270 CHF for 10 yoga sessions (validity for 3.5 months)
  • 10 CHF for 1 trial yoga session

Breathwork (pranayama), Meditation & Faceyoga

These sessions focus solely on breathwork and meditation.

Meditation is the habitual process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts.

  • It reduces stress and improves hormonal balance
  • Creates a positive mood and enhances self-discipline
  • Promotes healthy sleep patterns and increases pain tolerance

Pranayama is the practice of breath regulation. Prana means life energy (breath), and yama means control.

  • Promotes relaxation and mindfulness
  • Strengthens the connection between body and mind
  • Activates the parasympathetic nervous system

Duration: 35 minutes

  • 125 CHF for 10 yoga sessions (validity for 3.5 months)
  • 15 CHF for 1 trial yoga session
